................................$Unagi Ogino’s menu leaves a lasting impression with its wide selection of traditional Japanese dishes centered around premium eel specialties. During my visit, the highlights were the Unadon Tokujō, served with pickles and soup, and the beautifully prepared Unajū Nami in a heated container, which kept the flavors rich and satisfying until the last bite. The restaurant also offers unique options such as the Shirayaki Hitsumabushi Gozen and Shirayaki Gozen, allowing diners to enjoy the natural taste of expertly grilled eel. In addition, the luxurious Unagi Lunch, fresh Sashimi, and impressive Funamori platter add variety for those looking for a more complete dining experience.
What makes the menu even more appealing is the range of side dishes and set meals. The Tempura Gozen, Ajisai Gozen, and Makunouchi meal provide balanced choices, while specialties such as grilled eel liver, eel head tempura, bone crackers, chawanmushi, and grilled eggplant with miso showcase authentic Japanese flavors. Families are also well catered for thanks to the Kids Bowl and Kids Plate for elementary school children. To finish, the sweet and refreshing Amazake Sherbet is a perfect dessert.
